Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: May 17, 2026
Welcome to China Travel Official (chinatravelofficial.com). These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the relationship between China Travel Official ("we," "our," or "us") and the client ("you," "your," or "traveler") booking our bespoke inbound travel services. By requesting a customized itinerary, placing a deposit, or executing a booking confirmation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope of Services & Tailored Approach
-
Bespoke Small-Group Focus: We specialize exclusively in high-end, private customized travel itineraries designed for small groups of 1 to 6 guests.
-
All-Inclusive Package Pricing: To maintain our uncompromising service standards and preserve private vendor confidentiality, we only provide a single, comprehensive package price for your entire tailor-made itinerary. We do not offer itemized, breakdown, or individual project pricing under any circumstances.
2. Booking, Payment, and Deadlines
-
Custom Itinerary Development: Initial design and adjustments to your itinerary are completed by our travel experts based on your specific requirements and preferences.
-
Deposit and Confirmation: To secure reservations for domestic flights, high-speed rail tickets, high-end accommodations, and specialized English-speaking drivers, a non-refundable deposit (specified at the time of quoting) must be paid by the communicated deadline.
-
Balance Payment: The remaining balance of the total package price must be settled in full prior to the tour start date, strictly in accordance with the specific deadlines detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in the automatic cancellation of reservations.
3. Cancellations and Modifications
-
Client-Initiated Cancellations: All requests for cancellations or major modifications must be submitted to us in writing via email or our official WhatsApp channel.
-
Refund Policy: Refunds of the package price are subject to the cancellation policies of our primary suppliers (airlines, high-speed rail authorities, hotels, and heritage ticketing sites within China). Any non-refundable deposits or unrecoverable costs already incurred on your behalf cannot be refunded.
-
Modifications during the Journey: Any spontaneous changes requested by the client during the execution of the tour will be accommodated where operationally feasible, but any additional costs incurred must be covered entirely by the client.
4. Force Majeure & Itinerary Alterations
-
Definition: Force Majeure refers to unexpected events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, flight delays or cancellations, sudden closures of heritage sights by immigration/cultural authorities, acts of God, war, acts of government, or pandemics.
-
Liability Limitation: We value absolute transparency. In the event of a Force Majeure, we reserve the right to alter, reroute, or adjust your itinerary to ensure your safety. We will work diligently to secure refunds or alternatives from suppliers, but we cannot be held financially liable for losses, additional expenses, or compromised experiences caused by Force Majeure events.
5. Passport, Visa, and Travel Insurance
-
Real-Name Compliance: Travelers are entirely responsible for ensuring they possess a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into China) and the appropriate Chinese tourist visa (L Visa) or valid visa-free transit entry permissions.
-
Insurance Mandate: To ensure complete peace of mind, we highly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive international travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal baggage loss, and emergency repatriation before departing for China.
6. Code of Conduct and Safety
-
We reserve the right to decline or terminate services for any traveler whose behavior is disruptive, illegal under the laws of the People's Republic of China, or poses a safety risk to themselves, our local guides, or our dedicated English-speaking drivers.
7. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the applicable commercial and tourism regulations of the People's Republic of China.
