Wanted these little foo dogs to add a little color on my dresser. They are perfectly sculpted, but they are very small. I knew the measurements when ordering and was OK with them, but check them carefully if you’re looking for the bigger ones. They are shiny and bright and I love it.

My favorite part of Chinese New Year is the dragon and lion dance, so I wanted this little Fu Dog statue to honor those memories of so many fun festivals with family and friends. The lion is presented in a beautiful box. I was surprised at the bright colors of the lion as I took it from the more muted and traditional box. The colors are as bright as the dancer’s costume, the red and gold both surprisingly flashy. The listing says it is made of stone, but it feels and looks more like painted resin, so that is a bit confusing to me. It is heavy-weight and substantial. I am very happy to have this pretty piece as part of my decor.

This is the rare item you get and it’s far exceeds your expectations. Based on the picture I was expecting a small , lightweight, plastic Chinese Lion Head , relatively heavy, and definitely not plastic. It’s some kind of dense material that feels really sturdy. The lion head looks to be hand painted and the painting is done very well. It also came in a surprisingly fancy box with padding inside and a latch for the lid. It is the perfect desk or table ornament. I love this so much. I give it my highest recommendation.
